Castillon Road

My first London allotment. The site had over 100 plots but the majority of the site was covered in 6ft brambles. There were only a few plot being tending. I was allocated one in the corner of the site next to a plot covered in dahlias. My plot had a shed and a fruit cage but hadn’t been used in a few years.

Due to a heavy work schedule, mostly evenings into early mornings, I couldn’t find the time to visit, plus there was no community on this site, just brambles.

Just around the corner from this site is Hazelbank Road Allotments, I did consider this site but the Castillon Road came available first.
